I have to say thank you to those of you who take the time a comment, especially those kind words some of you have spoken.

Many of you emailed me, and wow I am surprised at where some of you are from! Sweden, I think Hon Kong or Japan (?), etc. How fun! It's amazing that little ole me could create something someone would want all of the way across the oceans!

Part Three and the winner!

First, I wanted to apologize for not getting this out yesterday. Long day, long story. DD is on meds. The Dr. said she has an illness!! Anyway, I am also changing where I have my downloads. Part Two...

Thought I would get this in while I had a minute. DH is teaching DS how to mow. DD learned a couple of weekends ago and has a mowing job for a neighbor. So I think that helped motivate DS. DD is sick. A cold, but a nasty one. She was coughing all night! We are trying to treat it naturally, with yucking tasting herb cough syrup, vitamin c, and LOTS of hot tea.

I am offering a digi scrap class locally and needed to post some examples for people to see. SO if you're a regular to my blog, feel free to skip this totally! ;)

For those of you interested in my class here are some examples of what digi scrap pages can look like.
Preserving the sweet notes. (Photo recolored)

Using templates.
Telling funny stories.

Have kids? Preserve the "kid things"

Make cards...this is front and back of a card I made.

More photo enhancement, layering, recoloring of alpha, using various fonts.

Make a layout with flairs.

You can put as many elements (ribbons, flowers, etc.) as you want...

...or as little. (also using a template)

Crop, layer, photo enhancing...

These are just a FEW examples of what you can create. Your imagination is your limit! No cutting of photos, paper, etc. was ever done in any of these pages.

I hope this gave you an idea of what digital scrapbooking is about!

What's in a name?

The story behind Pressed Petals.

I while back, I used to make pressed flower arrangements. I'd collect flowers, press them and make a flower border around a scripture or verse for friends and family. A few people told me I should sell them. I never did. I had little kids at the time and did not have the time for running around and selling them. I seem to have a name for everything; kids we'll never have, shops I dream of opening, etc. So I named my flower "business" Pressed Petals. I rarely make the pressed flower arrangements these days. When I first started this blog it was an everything blog. I named it Pressed Petals.

Now you know the history behind the name!
