did you guess it?

We went to Albuquerque and Santa Fe.
Hubby had a class in Albq. and we tagged along for a field trip.
All in all we got in state history, art and PE.

We left here Thursday night.
Friday we took the Rail Runner from Albq to Santa Fe.  It's a modern train.
They come and get your money/tickets while ridding too.
This is the best the kids would do for be.

On the way there we rode on the first floor.
On the way back we made sure to get on the top.
It was neat.  Some seats had a table and outlets to charge all of your electronics.

Here's the Santa Fe station.

Can you tell we are in the southwest?
Beautiful adobe, at the Santa Fe Plaza.

Now before I go any further, I have to brag on my self.
I am directionally challenged, big time.
I have always followed hubby here and there.
This was the first big adventure without him or someone to guide us.
Let me tell you I did good!!
I got us from the train station to everywhere we wanted to go!
Though I did have my google map and ask for directions, I did good!

Oh, we walked everywhere too, in Santa Fe.

There are Native Americans selling their goods in the front.  They have for many years.
.

Color, oh the colors.
They all look so nice against the browns.

San Miguel Mission Church, the oldest church in the US.
We went inside, but this was at the end of our day and I didn't feel like paying to see another catholic church.

The oldest house.
It was closed, bummer.  I would've paid for this one.
Here's what the walls looked like.  Adobe.
