Okay, I make a no right answer guarantee.

1. Didn't they change generals like 4 times?
2. General Lee, but they removed him for like a year? and then put him back in.
3. South Carolina's attempt to remove themselves from the Union
4. Pres. Lincoln's release of all slaves
5. The North had more resources, money, and men. While they sustained heavy losses, there was always more where that came from.

How'd I do?

1. Lincoln actually wanted Lee, but Lee went with the Confederates, Ulysses S. Grant was the main man for Lincoln. They did not like each other.
2. General Lee (and the Dukes of Hazzard's car is named after him) bhah
3. Slavery was not the main cause, but it was an issue. States rights was larger, and when California came in as a free state, the south was losing ground for equality in voting.
4. Four score and seven years ago...it begins and tell how the freedom is for all, it was given in Jan? but did not reach the south and the plantations til june(teeth) hence that celebration.
5. The north had more men and resources, and communications. Sherman's march thru the south decimated the moral and transportation of the south. The baricades to keep the south from selling it's goods (cotton and such) via the shipping routes was another killer blow to the south.
The South at the end, offered slaves the opportunity to fight, but not for their freedom.
I hope I did good, we haven't taught it yet in hs. but it is my favorite time period to study! lol
